When Heather McEwen, a veteran of the enterprise technology sector, first experienced Agiloft, she was hooked. “With Agiloft, administrators can build custom applications quickly and without coding,” she said. “The outstanding flexibility and competitive price-point make it easy to make changes as business processes evolve.”

Eager to learn more, the New Zealand-based computer consultant flew to California to train at the company’s headquarters. Meanwhile, Agiloft became impressed by McEwen’s quick grasp of the solution and asked her to become a reselling partner in New Zealand. She agreed and decided to form a business and technology consulting company (Saasam) around Agiloft’s offerings.

Within a few years, McEwen also began handling Australia and Southeast Asia. In 2017, thanks to consistent sales and the completion of Agiloft’s online training course by nine Saasam staffers, the company became a Platinum level partner.

Today, Saasam boasts 15 employees (four of whom are certified Agiloft implementers) and three offices: two in New Zealand and one in Australia, with plans to open a help desk facility in Malaysia and to expand into the UK.

The partnership between Agiloft and Saasam has been mutually beneficial. McEwen appreciates Agiloft’s strategic vision and partner resources, including sales and marketing information, forums where resellers can communicate, and online training. She also values the generous revenue margins (35-45% for certified resellers, with ongoing revenue for the life of the contract, plus 100% of professional services revenue) and Agiloft’s receptivity to her ideas.
