Agiloft Targets Enterprise Value Leakage with New Suite of Execution-Focused AI Agents

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., November 5, 2026 – Agiloft, the global leader in data-first contract lifecycle management (CLM), today announced a powerful suite of new agentic capabilities within its Ask AI ecosystem, introducing three specialized AI agents designed to execute complex, multi-step tasks: the Bulk Update Agent, the Contract Request Agent, and the eSignature Agent for Adobe Acrobat Sign. Alongside these tools, Agiloft is introducing its Multi-Pane Document Viewer and its Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server.

The deployment of these active automation layers targets a critical enterprise pain point exposed in recent Agiloft research, which revealed that procurement leaders estimate that at least 15% of supplier spend flows entirely outside contracted agreements. Only 36% of organizations automatically link sourcing outcomes to the resulting contract, leaving the clear majority reliant on manual data re-entry between disconnected software platforms. Agiloft's new suite of capabilities acts as an automated backstop to close that gap.

“The real promise of AI is reducing routine administrative work so teams can focus on preventing value leakage,” said Jason Barnwell, Chief Product Officer at Agiloft. “Where Agiloft uniquely stands apart is our ability to blend autonomous AI action with the deepest, most configurable CLM data structure on the market. Our customers can deploy secure, agentic automation that fits perfectly into their existing operations, compliance guardrails, and workflows without changing how they do business.”

Building on Agiloft's previously introduced agentic capabilities, including its automated AI-Assisted Contract Intake and conversational Guided Contract Updates, these new capabilities solve critical operational friction points across the contract lifecycle:

  • Multi-Pane Document Viewer: Users can now review and analyze agreements in a more connected experience that brings Ask AI, contract records, document views, and table data into one workspace. Instead of moving between disconnected screens, teams can review contract language, ask questions, compare information, and act on insights with more context in front of them.

  • Streamline signing with the E-signature Agent: Using natural language, users can prepare and initiate Adobe Acrobat Sign workflows directly through Ask AI. The agent guides users through selecting documents, identifying signers, establishing signing order, and reviewing details before sending for signature. By simplifying the steps required to initiate signing, Agiloft reduces errors and manual effort, and helps contracts move toward execution faster.
  • Eliminate intake friction with the Contract Request Agent: Business users can describe what they need in natural language, and Ask AI identifies the appropriate contract request form based on their intent and permissions. The agent guides users to the correct existing form, reducing confusion, minimizing misrouted requests, and helping contracts enter the right workflow from the start.
  • Move from search to scale with the Bulk Update Agent: Users can now update up to three data fields across multiple contract and attachment records directly from Ask AI search results. To prevent accidental changes, the agent displays a preview of all affected files and requires explicit human confirmation before executing the update. It provides a final report detailing successful, failed, or skipped entries.
  • Configurable semantic layer: Administrators can define how Ask AI interprets the business terms, field values, and terminology unique to their organization. By mapping familiar phrases, synonyms, and abbreviations to the data stored in Agiloft, users can search for contracts using their own language without needing to know exact field names or system terminology. This helps deliver more relevant search results and makes contract intelligence easier to access across the business.

Agiloft is also advancing capabilities for its MCP Server. This architecture establishes a standard interface for external software tools to interact with the central contract repository. Anthropic’s Claude is the first MCP client available in the current beta environment, but the server is built to support other enterprise tools upon final release. As MCP capabilities roll out, Agiloft will focus on helping customers access contract data through trusted AI experiences while preserving the permissions, controls, and security standards already built into their CLM environment.  Agiloft plans to extend support to additional MCP clients over time.

Together, these updates reflect Agiloft’s data-first approach to CLM, where contract data is structured, connected, and governed from the start. As enterprises adopt AI across more business processes, Agiloft is helping ensure contract intelligence can move with the business while maintaining the controls customers need.

Agiloft will continue to expand access to these capabilities as they move through rollout, with additional updates planned as part of its roadmap for connected, governed AI across the enterprise.
